Aleksya spent most of her time growing up in El Paso, Texas. There, she made an effort to give back to her community and her education was not limited to academics. Music, volleyball, and photography have always been a big part of her life along with engineering. She moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts, to study at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she obtained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Music. Driven by her thirst for knowledge regarding all aspects of product development, not just technical process, she continued her education at the University of Southern California, where she obtained a M.S. in Product Development Engineering on May of 2017.
